Need for the clinical case registry in homoeopathy

India has atleast 284,471 registered homoeopathic medical practitioners, practicing in government or private clinical/research settings. Due to the unique tenets of Homoeopathy based on individualisation and the lack of standardised and well structured case recording format, there is a paucity of documented clinical cases. In Homoeopathy individual cases contribute to the evidence pyramid by giving an insight into the prescription patterns of Indian homoeopathic doctors. A wealth of information is lost due to the absence of a Clinical Cases Registry in Homoeopathy which is being  developed  as a national / global database of clinical case.

  • Chronic Rhinosinusitis- RCT

    Case Report |2024-04-01

    Patient is suffering from post nasal discharge with irritation on lying since 10 years. He is having chronic nasal voice due to chronic constant snuffles nose. He also complains of frequent hawking, has to clear his throat frequently to clear the phlegm from post nasal dripping. Coryza is thin, watery for initial 2-3 days then it turns to thick, white sticky and offensive discharge. There is bilateral snuffles ears during coryza with occasional sneezing. During coryza, there is heaviness and pain in both eyes, eyebrows and constant pain in cheek and frontal head. There is also flatulence in general and disturbed sleep/ insomnia during coryza.
